New Designers 2009

09/07/2009 - 19/07/2009

July’s two part New Designers exhibition promises to reveal yet another fantastic showcase of dynamic graduate talent representing all design disciplines. The future generation of design stars present original and fresh ideas from fashion accessories to furniture, architecture to applied arts, graphics to glass, new media to contemporary craft, as well as textiles, graphics and illustration.

Over 4,000 graduates, including many from Scottish courses, will use New Designers 2009 to launch their careers, introducing their originality and talent to more than 18,000 visitors who include buyers, galleries, commissioning agents and prospective employers.

An inspirational and motivating platform, New Designers also plays a supportive professional role offering a series of talks and seminars about careers in design during both parts of the show.
