Visible Fiction's The Pearl

Based on an old Mexican folk tale, The Pearl tells the story of Kino, a Mexican pearl diver, whose fortunes change dramatically when he finds a pearl as 'perfect as the moon'.

This is a piece of moving drama that retains the author's haunting simplicity and his deep understanding for humanity.

Adapted from the novel by John Steinbeck by Visible Fictions.

Short clips from the play are titled as follows and feature actors on stage with props:

The sea
Kino finds the pearl
In the mountains
