Rona Lightfoot - debut album Eadarainn

Rona Lightfoot from South Uist has been described as a ceilidh personified. She is a great piper, a hugely talented singer and lilter, and a veritable treasury of traditional Gaelic songs.

What's more, Rona is a terrific raconteur with a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh.

Taken from the Rona Lightfoot album Eadarainn (between us) on the Macmeanmna label, SKYECD28. Produced by Iain MacDonald. Recorded by Alan Harfield at Unity Studio in Auldearn.

Featuring tracks from the album including:

Maol Donn
Canntaireachd
Ruidhleadh Cailleach ris a Bhalg/Eadarainn Mr Ruadh
