A Clean Sweep by Plutôt La Vie

Plutôt La Vie is a theatre company which aims to develop visual theatre projects. A Clean Sweep is a product of their vision and is a scriptless theatre piece involving brushes of all shapes and sizes using clowning, dance, object animation and visual storytelling.

Based on the idea that when a young child picks up an object for the first time, not knowing what it is or how to use it, they perceive it from a fresh perspective. Discovering the object sensually, exploring its qualities and possibilities, they play. With this in mind the two characters (played by Tim Licata and Ian Cameron) explore their relationship and their environment; a landscape of brushes which comes to life, and takes them by surprise.

Featuring 3 clips of the show.
