Historical musician in residence to delight local people
Music which hasn’t been heard since the 16th century will soon be wafting through the hills of the Scotland with the appointment of a Historical Musician in Residence. The post, which has been created by a consortium of the Scottish Arts Council, Fife Council, Dundee City Council and Angus Council, will give the residents of Dundee, Angus and Fife access to some of Scotland’s earliest music.

What's going on? National seminar on music provision for young people in Scotland

Dance Base is best building in Scotland
A Scottish Arts Council-funded building, Dance Base in Edinburgh’s historic Grassmarket, was today awarded the £25,000 RIAS (Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland) prize for the Best Building in Scotland.
