Scottish Arts Council aims for International working

Our aims for our international work:

  • Scotland to continue to be recognised as a centre of excellence for the arts and recognised for the strength and diversity of work produced here.
  • To know and compare attitudes towards and practice in the arts in different countries.
  • To build an international network of partnerships to promote and develop the work of Scottish artists and arts organisations.
  • To offer opportunities for Scottish audiences to enjoy the work of international artists.
