Future Focus - Developing audiences for Scottish Craft
Future Focus is the outcome of intensive research and consultation by The Audience Business, Glasgow Grows Audience and Hi-Arts for the Scottish Arts Council from 2008-09 to develop an evidence base for strategic decision making in Crafts Audience Development in Scotland. The report includes a draft action plan with recommendations for future activities and initiatives across the sector. The Scottish Arts Council has recently awarded £48,535 to craftscotland Ltd to implement some key strands of activity.
Quick Guide (Audience and Organisational Development)
Aimed at artists, arts organisations, partners and other policy makers, the Quick Guides give a brief snapshot of the current context in each artform and in the areas of audience development and education, where specialist teams work across the organisation. The Quick Guides highlight priorities in crafts, dance, drama, literature, music, visual arts, audience development and arts education. They describe the steps we will take in each area of the arts to ensure we meet our goal.
