Fast-track Professional Development

We support individual artists in most artforms to undertake professional development activities relevant to their artistic practice. We also support arts practitioners working at a professional level within the arts in Scotland, and their role in the development of the sector.

For further information, please see the Funding Across Artforms section of the website.

We regret that we are currently unable to accept applications to our Fast Track funds for activity taking place on or after 1 April 2010.

Applications accepted at any time up to 26 February 2010, but must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the project start date.

Fast-track = Fast-track (applications accepted throughout the year)

Please note: we will not normally fund productions which only appear at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival or Edinburgh International Festival. Scottish tours which include these festivals are eligible but most of the performances must happen outside of the festivals. There may be rare exceptions to this such as the Made in Scotland 2010 Fund, which is a Scottish Government initiative, managed by the Scottish Arts Council.
