Within this section of the website you will find the second set of documents we have released in relation to Scottish Arts Council’s strategic review. For an overview document, download the summary of Council decisions (EXCEL).

There are two types of documents which give information on the specific organisations that the Scottish Arts Council presently funds.   The exceptions to this rule are the National Companies which are being transferred to the Scottish Executive and the CCA which transferred ownership in February 2006.

Click on the alphabetical grouping (to the right of this page) to find the documents for each organisation. To download a document, either click on the link and save OR right click your mouse and save the file to your computer.

The two document types are as follows:

1. Assessment – summary

Each organisation was assessed and these documents indicates the officers assessment and additional comments as the assessment was checked, moderated and ratified through Council and committee.
Assessments which are not available at present will be published in mid May once further meetings have taken place

2. Artistic evaluations

Where an organisation is funded by the Scottish Arts Council to produce and present artistic work then artistic assessments take place regularly. Copies of these documents covering a number of years are presented within each section.

Not all organisations have artistic assessments and this is particularly true in the literature sector.
