The festival will mark a new home for jazz in Dundee at the Apex City Quay Hotel and Spa. The Sunday lunchtime session will be the first of many events with a view to making it a regular Sunday feature.

Courtney Pine is one of the most celebrated figures in new British jazz of the last 20 years. He'll be delivering his juicy, funky music, embracing soul, hip-hop and bebop at Dundee's Caird Hall on 29 April.
Rene Marie's seductive, inventive and burning vocals will pull in the crowds. This American singer writes some brilliant tunes and covers the classic jazz song book with fire and invention on 30 April at the Apex Hotel.
Tommy Smith and Brian Kellock - the two giants of the Scottish jazz scene some together in a scintillating partnership. Smith's liquid and fiery saxophone meets Kellock's torrential and imaginative piano in a sublime set with sparks flying. They'll be playing on 1 May at the Apex Hotel
