Regular Poetry Events

Celebrations of poetry happen throughout the year at many regular poetry events.  Here are a few highlighted events - for more events listings visit the Scottish Poetry Library website.

First Friday of every month, 8-10pm
Tchai Ovna House of Tea (off Otago Street and Gibson Street, near Voltaire and Rousseau secondhand bookshop in the West End of Glasgow)

'Reading of the Leaves' - an evening of poetry and creative writing, featuring writers from Glasgow and beyond. Previous readers include Louise Welsh, Anne Donovan, Suhayl Saadi, Freda Churches and Zoe Strachan. For further information or to book a reading, contact Nalini Paul

Spring Tides Poetry Group -

Dead Good Poets Society perform live. Open mike spots available. All welcome.
