Projects archive
As one of Scotland's principal assets, literature is a key component in cultural life in Scotland. Many of our writers are known around the world and people throughout Scotland are exposed to literature every day.
Literature carries our different languages. It helps people develop literacy and articulacy skills and will help every Scot to live, work, reflect and communicate in the 21st century.
We fund a number of organisations and individuals who work to promote literature through exciting projects and real commitment.
Browse through these interesting profiles of literature organisations and stories to get a taste of the exciting work happening throughout Scotland.
