Oceanallover presents Ya Ra Ra Cu Su, an open air performance of physical theatre based on a story by Argentinean writer Horacio Quiroga (1879 - 1937).

Ya Ra Ra Cu Su is premiered in Dumfries before being shown at Hidden Gardens at Tramway and then toured internationally in 2006.
A man is bitten by a snake, he drags a boat out into the river to find help. The boat and his soul drift down towards the ocean; as the banks of the river broaden and widen, his boundaries expand. Using physical theatre and strong visual imagery Yararacusu explores the boundary between will and complicity – the desire to remain.
