Disability Arts Network? Report
Since developing a disability strategy in 2000 and adopting the Social Model of Disability in 2001, the Scottish Arts Council has sought greater strategic development of art by, with and about disabled people on a Scotland-wide basis and to this end appointed Phyllis Steel, a highly experienced Scottish arts practitioner, to bring disabled artists together with relevant organisations to look at possible ways forward. This report represents a summary of that meeting, held on 1st October 2008.

Dance and Disability in Scotland
Dance work in Scotland includes disabled people at many levels – in participatory activities, within training programmes, and through the showcasing of professional dance practice. The Dance Department of the Scottish Arts Council is concerned to maintain a strategic approach to dance and disability with an emphasis on innovation and choreographic practice. To support this, the Dance Department commissioned Jo Verrent to undertake relevant research

Catalysing Arts and Health
This evaluation report present a review of the work of a Strategic Arts and Health Co-ordinator post. This post is located in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and was funded by the Scottish Arts Council for two years till June 2007. The evaluation was jointly commissioned by the Scottish Arts Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to inform future developments and assess the utility of this post as a potential model for arts and health work in other areas.
